August National Days

Wanting to see your middle school friends, but you can’t see them at school, and they seem to be home more than anywhere, and it’s hard to come up with a cheap, fun way to hangout, and you feel weird asking if you can just show up at their house? YEAH, SAME HERE.

We are using the National Day of _____ Calendar as an excuse to show up to our friend’s homes right now. There are actually multiple things to celebrate each day of the year, according to this calendar, but we’ve selected ones to inspire you when visiting your friends. Ways you could use these days:

  • Drop off the item to your friends, with or without a fun note.
  • Take a middle school friend with you to drop the item off to their friends, with or without a fun note.
  • Interview your friends, virtually or in person. Ask what this holiday means to them or how they’d celebrate it. Some, like “Aug. 16th Tell a Joke Day,” could be extra fun on social media.
